Meet your instructor!

I’m grateful to be part of the Melfort Arts Council community as a youth mentee, artist, and facilitator. As a Two-Spirit, neurodivergent, half Plains Cree/white settler artist, writer/storyteller, mother, advocate, and forever learner my creative practice is rooted in storytelling, cultural reclamation, and making space for connection and expression through culturally responsive care.

As a band member of One Arrow First Nation, born and raised in Melfort, my art is shaped by the land, my family, my experiences, and the stories that live within and around us. Whether it’s through beading, painting, or other creative forms, I aim to hold space where people of all ages feel welcome to explore their creativity in a relaxed, supportive environment. I believe art can be a form of healing, resistance, and joy, and I’m always honoured to create alongside others in community.

I’m passionate about Indigenous justice, youth empowerment, and the transformative power of the arts. I believe that making art is a powerful way to connect with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. I look forward to continuing to share and grow through future workshops, collaborations, and creative connections.
